About Multihead
Collin Souter, 36, graduated from Columbia College in Chicago with a Film/Video degree and set about making his first documentary, Meet the Monkeys, in 2003. The film chronicled a year in the life of an educational theater group in Chicago called Barrel of Monkeys, who teach a creative writing and theater workshop in inner city schools. Collin remains a member of this education organization. Collin followed it up with the documentary Break-Up Date, an examination of what it means to be single in our culture. The film went on to be screened at the Lake County Film Festival, the Rt. 66 Film Festival, the Naperville Independent Film Festival, the London Independent Film Festival and the San Francisco Documentary Film Festival. It will soon have a week-long run at Chicago's infamous Gene Siskel Film Center from June 26 - July 2nd.
Currently, Collin works as a teacher at an elementary school in Winnetka,
IL. You can also hear his movie reviews every Sunday night/Monday morning
on WGN Radio's The Nick Digilio Show. Every once in a while, he writes
a little something for eFilmcritic.com.
